Anthony “Andy” Anderson

Mr. Anthony Dewayne “Andy” Anderson of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Cumberland County Hospital, in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 40 years, 8 months, and 18 days. He was born on June 1, 1985, in Burkesville, Kentucky, the son of Campbell & Teresa (Anderson) Gilbert. Anthony proudly served in the Kentucky National Guard and worked as a Fiber Optic Technician for Electricom. He is preceded in death by his mothers, Teresa Gilbert, and Connie Anderson, maternal-grandparents, Roy (& Nina) Anderson, and brother, Chris Anderson.

He is survived by his father, Campbell Gilbert; children, Khloee Anderson, Trent Anderson, all of Burkesville, Kentucky; brother, Dylan (& Caitlin) Gilbert of Park City, Kentucky; aunt, Elaine Pierce of Glasgow, Kentucky; uncle, Roger (& Becky) Anderson of Cincinnati, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and many friends.

The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM in The Memory Chapel of the Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky with Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, beginning at 3:00 pm until the funeral hour on Thursday. Burial will be in the Gilbert Family Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
